The current state of events in Maharashtra forces me to think that whatever Muslim Community is doing to remind the BJP-led state government about its duties is not a right step taken towards discrimination in education and job opportunities. But I don’t know to what extent they can be accused, because a silent protest bears no fruits in this country and protest in necessary against this discrimination.

The extent to which minority communities are suffering under the rule of BJP is not unknown. Earlier, the center denied reservation in Mphil and PhD courses in universities to the minority communities, and now in Maharashtra, the government is denying Muslims and Marathas what was promised to them by the previous Congress-led state government.

The protesters who are in action in Dwarka, demand 16% reservation for Marathas and 5% reservation for Muslims. According to some protesters, the High Court is not taking any action because the current government is not taking any interest in the matter.
Due to the indifference of the authorities, the Muslim Vikas Arakshan Sangharsh Samiti, Nashik, is forced to take to streets and demand their rights.
