Stress is directly related to mental health. When a person is under stress, they tend to feel irritated or aggressive, insomnia, tiredness, anger, sadness, concentration problems and much more. If too much stress is taken, the body might eventually give out and the person may lead to falling sick. Stress can be caused by the smallest or even the biggest of things. A very common example would of a student during exam time. He/she will be under immense pressure to do well and score well for a better future. That pressure eventually turns into stress and that may hamper in the student's way of studying and he/she may not grasp what is being taught or studied properly. Some ways by which people can cope with stress are:
- Manage your workload properly
- Meditate or exercise
- Take breaks in between to relax your mind and do something that you enjoy doing
- Eat and sleep well
- Drink plenty of water
- Talk to someone and relieve your mind
If these steps are followed, then there is a very high chance that the person under stress is relieved and that will help them in making better decisions in the future.
Hope this is helpful.
