When you begin cooking pasta, the first step is to boil it. There are two ways to prevent pasta from clumping together:
1. When the water begins to boil, ensure pasta reaches a point where it is just soft and not overcooked.
2. When you sieve the pasta, immediately wash it with cold water to separate the pieces. In the water, you should add some amount of salt.

While cooking pasta put salt and 1 tablespoon of oil in the boiling water before adding pasta to it.After putting the pasta stir it well so that it dont stick together.After cooking pasta pour it into a strainer and keep it under the tap so that it is washed properly and the starch is removed.
