Today is the sixth day of 18th Asian Games in Jakarta, and the performance of Indian athletes so far has been satisfactory and up to everyone’s expectations, despite a low fifth day.

On the fifth day in Asian Games, Indian men’s team lost to Iran in Kabaddi, and now we are hoping that women’s team will not let India down with its face off with Iran in Kabaddi today. The sixth day, along with the women Kabaddi, we India also have a pool A hockey match with Japan.
Talking about India’s performance so far in Asian Games 2018, it can be judged by the medals won in the last five days since the opening:
• Fifth day: On Thursday, India bagged three medals.
- Ankita Raina won Bronze in tennis.
- 15 year old Sahrdul Vihan won Silver in shooting.
- Indian men kabaddi team lost to Iran and earned a Bronze.
• Fourth day: The history was created on the fourth day with some glorious wins.
- Rani Sarnobat became the first Indian woman shooter to win a gold medal at the Asian Games.
- India also bagged four bronze medals in the wushu sanda competition.
- Three Bronze were also won by Santosh Kumar (56 kiloram), Surya Bhanu Pratap Singh (60kg) and Narender Grewal (65kg) each.
• Third day: Tuesday was again, a glorious feat for India.
- Sourabh Choudhary was the youngest competitor in the game and still he managed to win a Gold in shooting.
- In the same event, Abhishek Verma won a Bronze.
- Shooter Sanjeev Rajput also bagged a silver.
- India won his first medal, a Bronze in Sepak takraw.
- Divya Kakran, bagged Bronze in women's 68kg freestyle category.
- Shooter Deepak Kumar and Lakshay won silver each in 10m air rifle and men's trap respectively.
• First day: Even the start was no less than glorious of India in Asian Games 2018.
- Shooters Apurvi Chandela and Ravi Kumar won bronze in the mixed rifle event.
- Bajrang Punia won India its first Gold on of Asian Games 2018.
