Jackfruit is as tasty as it is healthy. To try something innovative with it, you must try Jackfruit Kababs.
Ingredients:
- Jackfruit (boiled and smashed): ½ kg
- Onion (Finely chopped): 3
- Tomato (finely chopped): 1
- Lemon juice: 3 tablespoons
- Cumin powder: 2 tablespoons
- Coriander powder: 2 tablespoons
- Garlic-ginger paste: 2 tablespoons
- Cumin: 1 tablespoon
- Oil and salt: As appropriate
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan, and add cumin to it.
- Add onion, and fry well. After that add ginger and garlic paste.
- Add tomato, salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, and Garam masala and stir well.
- Add gram flour and roast well. Add boiled and smashed jackfruit and lemon juice and mix well. Cover it with a lid and let it cool for 10 minutes.
- When cooled, give the mixture different shapes and deep fry in oil like fritters.
