Poha is an easy way out when you are running out of time in the morning and can’t indulge in a long and detailed breakfast cooking. Watch here how you can prepare Poha quite easily and quickly in the morning for your breakfast.
The recipe is given below.
Ingredients:
• Poha (flattened rice), soaked: 2 cup
• Onion (finely chopped): 1
• Peas: ½ cup
• Green chili (finely chopped): 2
• Carrot (chopped): 1
• Coriander leaves (chopped)
• Cumin: ½ tablespoon
• Black mustard seeds (rai): ½ tablespoon
• Turmeric: ½ tablespoon
• Salt: According to taste
• Paneer (cottage cheese) –cut in pieces: 100 grams
• Curry leaves: 4-5 leaves
Method:
• Take a non-stick pan and heat oil in it.
• First, add black mustard seeds and cumin in the oil, and then add onion, green chili, and curry leaves.
• When the onion starts turning brown, add carrot and peas.
• When all the vegetables are cooked properly, add the soaked Poha to it and mix well.
• Sprinkle salt and turmeric now.
• When Poha gains a color and is mixed well with the veggies, add the pieces of Paneer.
• Serve after garnishing with coriander leaves.
