Usually prepared on BasantPanchami, Sweet Pilaf or MeethaPulao is a delicacy for which Indian subcontinent is famous. Also, it is very easy to make.

Method:
• Basmati Rice (soaked): 1 cup
• Sugar: 1 cup
• Reduced milk (khoya): 100 grams
• Raisins: 2 teaspoons
• Cashew nuts: 2 teaspoons
• Cinnamon: 2 small pieces
• Bay leaf: 2
• Clove: 4
• Orange food color: 1 tablespoon
• Oil: as per requirement
Ingredients:
• Boil rice in 4 cups of water, along with food color, cloves, bay leaf, and cinnamon.
• Drain out all the remaining water. Now add sugar in the rice and cook it in the same utensil in which you boiled the rice.
• When sugar is completely absorbed by rice, turn the gas stove off.
• Heat oil in a separate pan and add raisins in it. Finally add the rice and stir well.
• Garnish it with cashew and khoya before serving.
