Dieting has become a popular topic of discussion, both among the scientific community and amongst the general public. One side of the argument suggests it is an essential part of good health, while others argue that it is unnecessary and only leads to more problems.
The argument can be based on either science or personal experience; there is no consensus on the topic. Dieters are often faced with feeling hungry, regretting their decisions, thinking about food constantly, eating unhealthy foods again later on (“cheat days”), or spending hours in gyms working out without any weight loss results.
