Be it BJP, or be it Congress, what difference does it make? Instead of thinking about such political issues, we should rather be happy that Sikhs have finally got the permission for visiting the Kartarpur Gurudwara after the struggle of so many years. But politics is omnipresent in any country, and hence it just can’t be ignored.
Whether it is public welfare or something against the interest of people, politics just needs a chance to stage a drama and point fingers on someone or the other. It is in 2018 that Sikhs have got visa to visit Kartarpur Gurudwara, and we are sure that this is going to resurface again in 2019 as a political agenda for the general elections. Both BJP and Congress will try to take the credit and benefit from this good of the people.
Anyway, it is a well-known thing that the matter of Kartarpur Gurudwara came into the forefront because of the minister of Punjab government, Navjot Singh Siddhu.
Navjot Singh Siddhu was criticized a lot for attending the oath taking ceremony of Pakistani Prime Minister, Imran Khan, but the visit bore good fruits finally.
More than 3000 people have already got the visa and are visiting the said Gurudwara in Pakistan. There is even a ceremony from 21st to 30th November, for this happy occasion and people are taking part in it with enthusiasm.
