CMAT 2019, a common admission test conducted by AICTE across India, opens the opportunity for candidates pursue PGDM, MBA, PGCM, and executive PGDM. The CMAT examination will be held on January 28, 2019. The examination will be conducted in two shifts- morning and evening. The scores obtained in the CMAT entrance exam help students get admission into AICTE approved colleges. The registration has started for CMAT. To apply for the exam, candidates needs to:
1. Register online
2. Proceed and fill in the necessary details such as Personal Information, Educational Qualification
3. Pay the required application fee
4. Upload the scanned image and signature

1. The biggest change is CMAT will be held in two shifts.
2. The second change is candidates can now select from 4 cities instead of 3 during 2019 registration.
Though NTA is the new exam conducting body for CMAT, they have clarified that there will no significant changes in the exam pattern, application fee and eligibility criteria. In addition to the minor changes, NTA will also provide an online form correction facility.

The eligibility criteria are as under:
Nationality: Indian citizens can apply for the exam
Academic Qualification: Candidates must complete graduation in any discipline. In addition, candidates in the final year of graduation can also fill CMAT application form.
Syllabus of CMAT 2019

Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation: The following topics are covered under this section:

3. Speed, time and distance
4. Time and work
5. Profit and Loss

10. Pie Chart

Logical Reasoning
The section includes the following topics. A student’s reasoning capacity is tested under this section:

2. Linear Arrangements

5. Inferences
6. Statements and Conclusion
7. Non-Verbal Reasoning
8. Symbol based problems
9. Ranking Tests
Language Comprehension
The section checks a student’s ability to understand and read English. The test consists of:
1. Vocabulary
2. Para Jumble
3. One-word substitution
4. Reading comprehension
5. Paragraph comprehension
General Awareness
The section includes topics that check a student’s presence of mind as well as their knowledge about what is happening all over the world. This is the reason it is important to stay updated about the national and international events.
CMAT 2019 Admit Card
Students who successfully submit the examination form with complete payment before the last date will receive the CMAT 2019 admit card on January 7, 2019. Applicants can get their admit cards via online mode only. Note that students will not receive their admit card via post. It is mandatory for students to take a print out of the admit card from the website.
