Kuldeep Nayyar is counted among the biggest journalists of his century. Be it the articles or in the newspapers or the books written by him, his works make him one of the most intellectual journalists. Kuldeep Nayar died at the age of 95 on August 24 in Delhi. It’s very saddening that we have lost such a great journalist. In the times when the youth is striving to get featured in the newspaper somehow, Kuldip Nayar made it to the headlines even in his old age. He was a big journalist with quite a lot of political connections.

Kuldeep Nayar was born on August 14, 1924 in Sialkot (now in Pakistan). He wanted to become an advocate, but that could not happen because of the partition and he got into journalism. He studied education from USA and earned a PhD in Philosophy. Nayar served as the Press Information Officer of the Government of India, was the editor of The Times (London) and wrote for PIB, UNI, and The Statesman.
