Pets are adorable and everybody likes to spend time with them. But the biggest challenge for pet owners is to keep the house clean, amidst the mess their pets create by leaving behind their fur and saliva. Here are some handy cleaning tips to keep your house clean.

1. Clean your carpets and sofa with rubber dish-washing gloves on. The fur sticks to the rubber patches at finger points and makes your job easy. You can later dip gloves in water to clean them.

2. Pets usually sit on sofas and beds and you get hassled by fur and odor on the covers? Add a cup of bicarb soda to the washing powder load in the machine and give them a spin.

3. When the food gets dried and sticks to the pet dish bowls, the smell is very unpleasant. Avoid this by applying olive oil on the insides of dish bowls after washing.

4. Worried of scratches on furniture? Make use of magic potion in your kitchen, white vinegar. Mix a 3/4 cup of oil with a 1/4 part of vinegar to wipe over the damaged area.

5. Bandana looks cool on pets but their fur gets stick to it due to soaked in drool or slopping eating. Do not forget to wash them daily.

  1. Use a lint roller to remove pet hair from furniture and clothing.

  3. Protect furniture with washable covers to prevent stains and hair buildup.

  4. To prevent stray litter particles from entering the litter box, place a litter mat outside the box.

  5. Wash pet bedding regularly using pet-safe detergents to maintain freshness.

  6. Vacuum frequently, especially during the shedding season, to manage pet hair.

  7. Groom pets regularly to reduce shedding and maintain coat health.

  8. Use a rubber glove or damp sponge to remove embedded pet hair from upholstery.

  9. Clean pet toys and bowls with a bleach solution to eliminate bacteria.

  10. Use dust wipes to remove pet hair from surfaces and prevent allergens.

Implementing these strategies can help maintain a cleaner and more comfortable living environment for both you and your pets.

Daily brushing greatly reduces loose fur on floors and furniture  try a deshedding brush or slicker to cut down on vacuuming time.

I used the soda trick and it worked. Thanks for sharing guys. I am a fellow pet lover and plant enthusiam. My cat suddenly started itching his whole body. I got to know she has some serious alergy by my plants. I order some new pet friendly plants and now I can have both of my hobbies.
