If there is someone who thinks that only DC Universe can boast of enigmatic villains due to the Joker, then they need to think twice. Because Marvel has created its own indestructible and much relatable villain called Thanos.

We have already met Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War and are eagerly waiting for his story to move ahead in
Endgame. And all the knowledge that most of us possess about this enigmatic Marvel Universe villain is largely based on the tit-bits about him that we have been served in various Marvel movies and on the last Avengers movie.
Yet, that movie was enough for us to tell how strong and magnanimous Thanos is. Indeed, we just love to hate him and even to fear him.

There is, however, a lot that is still unknown Thanos. There are very little chances of you knowing some particular facts about Thanos if you haven’t read the Marvel comics. For example, do you know that he is also known as The Mad Titan?

1. It was Thanos’ father Mentor who gave superhero powers to his enemy Drax, with the help of Kronos, the grandfather of Thanos. That is how Drax became the Destroyer from a real estate agent.

2. Thanos was born on Titan and was malformed. His mother tried to kill him in childhood. At that time, he was a pacifist and only used to play with his brother Eros.
3. Thanos is literally obsessed with Death. This means that Death appeared before him in the form of a woman and he fell in love with her. He wanted to seek omnipotence just to be worthy of Death’s love.

4. The biggest enemy of Thanos is Adam Warlock who, in comics, tries to defeat him while his expedition of collecting the infinity stones. He rallies the Avengers and Captain Marvel to achieve his goal. I hope we see him in
Avengers: Endgame.

5. We all know the relation between Gamora and Thanos. But many of us don’t know that Thanos really treated her like a daughter observing one day in ayear as Gamora’s birthday and celebrating The Earth’s holiday, Christmas with her too.
