Becoming USA’s first trillion-dollar public company, there’s a lot on the shoulder of people at Apple to burden. Quoting Rob Siltanen, the creative director of now-iconic ‘Think Different’ Apple’s ad, Steve Jobs once said, “we push the human race forward.” And this is exactly what is expected from this trillion-dollar public company, often considered
one of the most innovative one.

In his recent speech at Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), Apple CEO Tim Cook laid out a list of plans that the company will be working on in the coming decade. It will include exploring new opportunities in the fields of augmented reality and virtual reality—both the areas where the competitors have managed to beat Apple by big margins.
Also, the company will go all-in with its HomePod, a next-gen speaker that will literally change the game for it. Think of it as Amazon’s Echo biggest competitor that, in the coming months and years, will eventually include Siri. And this would redefine the relevance of personal assistance. Apple would also invest more in the futuristic AirPods that, after all the uproar and upsetting over missing headphone jacks, would become an industry ‘it’ that other companies would be chasing.
iPad, which has long been touted as the ultimate replacement for laptops, will really progress and see some serious improvements, including the welcoming of iOS 11. Macbooks, too, will see major improvements, blending artificial intelligence in its core. And let’s not forget the Apple Watch. At a time when everyone would agree that wearables are the future, bet on it that Apple Watch will be a serious consideration for the company to improve and market more.
Honestly, don’t expect something out-of-the-box from Apple at least in the next 5 years (like the hyped Samsung’s foldable phone). The company will likely stick to the roots—yet make giant innovations in the current line of products. It will make its products more powerful and bring in more advanced features, aside from the regular improvements in Cameras, processors, battery and other basics. There’ll be a lot more changes in its core products—like Apple investing more in Apps for healthcare and payment.
Aside from these, one day – if not in the next 10 years then at least 20 years from now – we will see likes of iGlass (for VR), Virtual iKeyboard, iRobots (powered by Siri) and iHolographic images from Apple.
