In earlier days it was not easy for the ex-employees to get their salary and reimbursements back. After leaving the job either willingly or forcefully, the ex-employees of some of the private firms had to run behind their bosses or chiefs for their unpaid salary and reimbursement. Literally they had to visit them daily and listen to their unconvincing stories.
But those days are gone. Now people are aware about legal and popular ways to get their dues back.
Let us discuss those ways one by one.
They have to use Sama Dana, Dand and Beda as mentioned by Shri Krishna in Mahabharat.
First way is to explain to their superiors about their house hold situation and need of the money. They can write emails to all the superiors and asking them to pay their wages and other things as soon as possible. If they refuse to cope with then the employees can go to the next step.
The next step they can take is to hint the bosses about negotiation or agreement. If the employers were not able to give the full amount immediately, the employees can agree for instalment payment.
Another option is blackmailing. This may sound unethical but that that person that that way to confront. If the employers are giving sleepless nights and increasing blood pressure to the employees than it is also ethical to let them face the music now. Social media is a dangerous weapon now. The employees can now write a letter to the chief or manager about their intention to expose the employer in Twitter or Facebook. The exposure might or might not work in favour of employees but it will definitely scare the company people. Damage to their image and bad publicity will definitely affect their business.
Last one is Beda. That is staring a real war with the employers. Employees can go for legal advise and can sue the company for non-payment of salaries and other reimbursements. You can approach proper labour commissioner who is appointed for the jurisdiction of your company location. He will help you in recovering the due salaries.
Labour law is there and there are other way of extracting their respective amount from the bosses.
