Two major things for which our respected Prime Minister is known are his travels and his speeches. And all Modi-bhakts are already geared up for to start their Independence Day with the speech of PM Narendra Modi at Red Fort.
Our Prime Minister’s oratorical skills are not hidden. He is master in announcing even the bad news as good news. So our expectations hardly matter. What I am waiting for in tomorrow’s speech is whether he would say anything about the recent attack on Umar Khalid. And if he would reply to Umar Khalid’s tweet in which he suggested Modiji to guarantee in his speech the safety of those who speak against his government. On those grounds, we can hardly expect any good news.
One thing which is being expected from PM Modi’s speech however, is the declaration of Ayushman Bharat Pilot Projects which is famously known as “Modicare”. It is the national healthcare policy launched by the Government of India in February this year which promises to cover over 10 crore poor and vulnerable families (approximately 50 crore beneficiaries) providing coverage up to Rs 5 lakh per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization.
Whatever he’s going to speak on on 72nd Independence Day, the large crowd, both at red fort and at home glued to TV screens, mobile phones, and laptops is ensured.
