The technique of creating an illusion of movemnts in 2 dimensional space is know as 2D animation. this technique is famously known as traditional animation. In this technique the image is created in a sequence that have variation in the way they appear. In simple words the position of the character or object differ slightly. The sequence of images is called as cell and each cel is a complete drawing of the object or character, that are played with a speed of 24 per second, that helps in the creation of illusion of movement.
