Gross National Product (GNP) is a measure of the total economic output of a country's residents, regardless of their location. It is the sum of all goods and services produced by a country's citizens, including those living abroad, and is often used as an indicator of a country's economic strength.

GNP is calculated by adding the value of all goods and services produced by a country's citizens, including those produced outside the country, and subtracting the value of all goods and services consumed by its citizens, including those imported from other countries. GNP can be calculated over a period of time, such as a year, and can be expressed in nominal or real terms.
