When Sun, Moon and Jupitar combine together, they cause kal sar dosh. Rahu and Ketu face each other during this period hence their power is increased. Rahu worships Kaal and Ketu worships snake, which is why it is called Kaal sarp dosh.

Kal Sarp Yog and Dosh is a very bad astrological occurrence. It brings a lot of misfortune and misery to the person. Generally believed, it occurs due to lots of bad karmas. But the position of planets also come to play a significant role here. Although the troubles that come with this occurrence is manageable, the person suffers continuously on various fronts, which, in some cases, can last for as long as 45 years.
Basic problems include financial instability, physical and mental illness, trouble in married life, and career uncertainty. There are several chants which can help you if you have Kal Sarpa Yog and Dosh.
All that being said, I personally believe that these are crap. Your life depends not on when and where you are born but what actions you take. If you’re working hard and smart, you can bet that you will get a good result. If you fail, just assume that you didn’t work hard enough. The condition of your life, the sufferings and victories, it all depends on you and not your stars.
So, if someone told you that you have Kal Sarpa Yog and Dosh, ***** them and continue doing what you’re doing. Everything will just be fine!

Kaal Sarpa Yoga (which is also known as Kaal Sarpa Dosha) is a term that refers to an imbalance in the body’s elements due to factors such as an out-of-balance diet, irregular lifestyle, or poor digestion. This can manifest in many ways, including irritability, lower immunity, and mental confusion. These imbalances can be offset by following a balanced diet and incorporating the correct foods into your lifestyle. According to astrology, a person's natal chart shows symptoms of Kaal Sarp Yog when all of the planets (Griha) are wedged between Rahu and Ketu.
