Sanitizing is necessary for keeping you safe from the harmful bacteria that can grow on surface and in your hands. Yet, hand washing may not be the best option for cleaning a surface. At a concentration of 0.1 percent or 1,000ppm, sodium hypochlorite (bleach / chlorine) can be employed (1 part of 5 percent strength household bleach to 49 parts of water). 70-90 percent alcohol can also be used to sterilise surfaces. To eliminate filth, clean the surfaces with soapy water or a detergent first, then disinfect.
