The Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran Pvt. Ltd., which is also know as BRBNMPL is a fully functional and specialized subsidiary/division of The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) which is owned by the Ministry of Finance under the Government of India. It was established on the 3rd of February, 1995, with its headquarters in Bangalore. The chairman of this division of the RBI is Major General Devendra Kapur. The purpose of this division of the RBI is to mint Indian bank notes.
