The greatest ruler from the Mughal empire was the Akhbar. He was born on 15th October 1542. He ruled the Indian subcontinent from 1556 to 1605 and was solely responsible for the extension of the Mughal empire. As to achieve and keep the unity in the empire he gained respect by adopting several programs involving the nonmuslim communities. He was the non-biased king who took interest in every religion and engaged every religious authority in a discussion before him. He also appreciated the artisans, poets, and musicians at his court.
