It was before when the famous Bollywood actress, Juhi Chawla started working in Bollywood. Before entering the film industry, Juhi Chawla participated in Miss India Beauty Pageant, and even won it! That is when she was awarded by the then Bollywood sensation, Rekha.

Juhi Chawla is a phenomenal actress with extraordinary talent and outstanding looks. Many people don&rsquo;t know that apart from Hindi movies, she also did Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu cinema.

She was born in Ambala, Haryana and did her schooling and graduation from Mumbai. After that she won Miss India and entered Bollywood with Sultanat as her debut movie. She received wide recognition with her performance in Qayamat se QayamatTak. 
She is the recipient of two Filmfare awards, and even represented India in Miss Universe pageant in 1984. Even though she could not win the title, she was declared the winner of Best National Costume.
