Makar Sankranti is celebrated on 14 January of every year.The festival is celebrated because it is the beginning of new crops and on the day of makar Sankranti we worship those new crops by making sweets at home like tilgur,besan ka ladoo and fly kites with family and friends.From this day sun change his direction from South to North hemisphere.It is one of the best festival which is celebrated in india.
