When were the pyramids in Egypt discovered?

The Pyramids of Egypt was discovered by Karl Richard Lepsius in the year 1842. This was the first modern list of pyramids which was today known as the Lepsius list of pyramids. This list counted to 67. From this, many pyramids list have been discovered and at last currently, total 118 Egyptian pyramids has been identified. The Egyptian Pyramids was one of the ancient masonry structure located in Egypt. The earliest pyramids are found at Saqqara.
