Jim Corbett National Park was is considered to be India's first-ever national park. It was established in the year, 1936 during the British rule in India. It was named after British hunter, Edward James Corbett. Its area is approximately, 1,318 km^2. It is located in Uttarakhand, India. Approximately, 70,000 visitors visit Jim Corbett every season from not only India, but abroad as well.
