India has always been regarded as the country associated with various kinds of miracles. The places of worships have a special mention in them, some of which are not only said to be associated with miraculous but paranormal activities as well.


The ones of which I have heard are mentioned below

• Mehandipur Balaji Temple

Situated in Rajasthan, Balaji temple is famous for exorcizing ghosts out of the possessed people in live prayer sessions, before everyone. Thousands of possessed people are brought in this temple. Here they are tied and then they undergo an exorcism.

• Devji Maharaj Temple

This temple is situated in Madhya Pradesh. Possessed people are brought in this temple only on a full moon night. The priests here use sacred brooms to exorcize the ghosts and then the smoke of camphor is used. The whole process is too scary for a normal person to experience.

• Shri Kashtbhanjan Dev Hanumanji Temple

It is situated in Gujarat and here also, the possessed are treated. Many people have claimed to have got exorcized in this temple.

• Sant Sabir Shah Dargah

In this sacred place, the possessed are tied to a wall and then treated. The place is claimed to have been the site of many paranormal activities.

• Dattatreya Temple

People are scared of even entering this temple, such terrible are the sights over there. On the full moon and no moon nights, there happens the Mahamangal Aarti in the temple. Screams of ghosts can be heard even from outside the temple. The possessed who come here for exorcism are often found hanging by the walls and roofs.

• Hazrat Syyed Ali Meera Dattar Dargah

Followers of almost every religion come here for exorcism. This Dargah is situated in Gujarat and everyone who is possessed is brought here at least once. The place is especially known for exorcizing ghosts out of women.
