Who is Angad Bedi and why did Neha Dhoopia married him?

Neha Dhupia and her husband Angad Bedi are in news nowadays due to their sudden marriage. Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia were married around Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s marriage. While on one side Sonam Kapoor's marriage took place between Bollywood stars with great pomp and show, Neha and Angad got married in very simple, and somewhat secretive way. Neha and Angad were each other's best friends and the sudden marriage brought the relationship of both to Limelight.
Who is Angad Bedi?
Angad Bedi is a model and an actor. Angad studied in Delhi's St. Stephen College completed. He has also played for the Under-19 cricket team after which he started modeling. Angad's first Hindi film was FALTU. He has also participated in TV reality show Kho Kho player. Angad also hosted the Bindas TV reality show Emotional Atyachar’s first season. He drew he attention of the audience through his performance in the film PINK. Angad has appeared in many other shows and films.

When Neha and Angad were asked about this sudden transition from great friends to spouses, they remarked thus,
Neha :Angad is my very best friend. He had asked me for marriage four years ago, but at that time I was in a relationship with someone else, so I refused him and decided to remain a friend. Four years later, when Angad told me that I have ruined his four years and he still felt the same about me. This was the time when I decided to marry him.
Angad: When I saw Neha for the first time, I developed a liking for her instantly. No one can be better than your friend for marriage. When we asked our parents, they said yes. Like the other people, my mother also wanted my marriage to be a grand affair, but we wanted a simple marriage. Marrying Neha is the best decision of my life.
