Who is Virginia Woolf?

Virginia Woolf who was born Adeline Virginia Stephen was an English writer. She is considered one of the most prominent modernist writers of the 20th century. Woolf was the pioneer writer to use Stream of Consciousness as a narrative device. She was one of the central subjects of feminist criticism in the 1970's movement. The writer is not only known for her novels but is also known for essays like A Room of One's Own and many others.
