It’s a very thoughtful and interesting question, you have asked. People know that Hindu marriage involves taking Saat Phere or seven rounds, but they don’t know its significance.

We know that a week has seven days and every day has its own characteristic and importance. Similarly, the relationship of husband and wife is said to be for seven births, and each birth represents a round. Each round comes with a promise given to each other by both husband and wife, and all the promises given have their own meanings.
