Controlling your anxiety can be a difficult task, but it is possible with the right techniques. One of the best ways to control your anxiety is to practice mindful breathing. This means focusing on your breath and counting to five as you inhale and exhale. You can also practice progressive muscle relaxation, which involves tensing and then releasing each muscle group in your body. Other methods that can help manage anxiety include cognitive-behavioral therapy, exercise, and relaxation activities such as yoga, meditation, and tai chi. Finally, avoiding caffeine and alcohol, eating healthy, and getting plenty of sleep can help to reduce anxiety.

Controlling anxiety is possible, but with consistent efforts. Anxiety often leads us to overthink the consequences of things and leaves us with a sense of excessive dread. Anxiety can induce stress hormones and can leave one with no motivation and positivity. For this reason, we need to engage in self-care activities or habits that can help lessen its effect on us. Activities like meditation, yoga, journaling, or anything comfortable for us can be used to keep us away from such negative thoughts and fear. Also, there are mantras for anxiety that can be used whenever one feels excessive emotions, are easy to remember, and can profoundly impact one when repeated. It requires patience and consistent efforts to see long-term results in controlling anxiety.
