Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known by the name Pel&eacute;, was a Brazilian football player. He is also widely regarded as the 'King of Football' and is considered to be the greatest football player of all time. He made his debut in professional football for the Brazilian football team, during the 1957 season, at the age of 17. Before that he had just joined his first club known as club Santos, at the ripe age of 16. He then went onto play for 20 years and retired from the game on the 1st of October, 1977 at the age of 36. He is an insipiration to many current football players and also the aspiring players as well.
