Why did Chelsea reject Barcelona’s third bid for Willian?
The 29 year old football player, Willian Borges da Silva, may not play for Barcelona as Chelsea has rejected the third bid proposed by Barcelona for him. The bid was more than $115m.
The manager, Maurizio Sarri, has admitted that he is not having the final say in the decision. According to him, the star trio of Chelsea, forward Eden Hazard, goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and winger Willian will stay put this summer. He says that Real Madrid is in the pursuit of Hazard and Courtois, while Manchester and Barcelona are chasing Willian. The football players however, are in their respective countries on vacations after the World cup.
One more report tells that Chelsea can rethink the decision on the Brazilian player, Willian if the bid improves from $115m to $124m.
