In the court of the Mughal Emperor,Akbar,Birbal was the chief commander of the army & the advisor.He was born in 1528 at Sidhi.His full name wasMahesh Das but was popularly known as Birbal.From the year 1556-1562 Birbal was a poet & singer in Akbars court.Birbal was very brainy & was popularly known for his folk tales & his clever answers given to Akbar.In Akbars court Birbal was the only Hindu navratna.He died on 16th February 1586 at Karakar Pass.

He is known for his tales in India. He was also a poet and author. His wisdom inspired akbar. Biral was a very close friend of. Akbar and Akbar enjoyed birbals company Because of his wit , humor and Intelligence.
